Unlocking the World of GOOGLE During SMUG's June 12th Meeting
Arnold, CA...Taking advantage of all that Google has to offer will be the main topic when the Sierra Macintosh Users Group (SMUG) holds its monthly meeting on Tuesday, June 12 at 7 p.m. in the assembly room of the Ebbetts Pass Fire District, 1037 Blagen Rd., just off Highway 4. Brian Thomas, Technology Specialist and Trainer for the Calaveras County Office of Education will be making the presentation and leading the discussion. ...
“Google is so much more than a search engine,” he says. “Over the past few years they have developed some of the most innovative and dynamic ways to find, produce and share information. During the meeting we will explore the world of Google and help SMUG members to use their iMacs, iPads and iPhones to tap into the great resources to be found there.”
As is always the case with these meetings, there will be subjects covered and questions answered that are not on the agenda.
SMUG meets the second Tuesday of each month. Meetings are open to everyone and there is no charge to attend. The organization exists to keep Mac users abreast of the latest developments and to address the nagging questions that arise from time to time. Its goal is to take the mystery out of computers and to enable members to take advantage of all the features their Macs possess.
