Alba “Ada” Marie Price 1917 - 2012

San Andreas, CA...Alba “Ada” Marie Price, born Sept. 17, 1917 in Bingham Canyon, Utah passed away June 16, 2012 in San Andreas. Known to many as “Nonie” she loved her animals, walking, music, singing, the Italian Club dinners and taking care of her flower garden. She enjoyed cooking and her specialties were Gnocchi and Lemon and Apple pie. She cooked at the Kentucky House in San Andreas for the Calaveras Cement Plant. She worked many years at the Altaville Drug Store preparing lunches for high school kids and members of the community. She was a retired clerk for PG & E with 32 years of service and lived 77 years in Calaveras County. She volunteered for the Mark Twain/St. Joseph’s Hospital Thrift Store and the American Cancer Society...



Mrs. Price is survived by her children: Harold Price of Murphys, CA, Carolee Harris of Pioneer, CA and Norman Price of Sloughhouse, CA, 4 Grandchildren and 9 Great-Grandchildren.

A Celebration of Ada’s life will take place on June 30, at 11 A.M. at the Angels Gun Club in Angels Camp, CA. Mrs. Price will be privately inurned at the St. Patrick’s Catholic Cemetery in Altaville, CA.

In lieu of flowers, family asks donations be made to the Amador/Calaveras Hospice, P.O. 595, Jackson, CA 95642, the Calaveras Humane Society or the charity of your choice.
