Horse & Barrel Wine Tasting...30 Horses Strong
Murphys, CA...Horse and Barrel the local horseback riding and touring company led one of their largest expeditions a couple of weeks ago when they led a group from Oakdale on nice tour of Murphys, wine tasting and more topped by a nice lunch at Murphy Hotel. When we spotted 30 plus horses tied behind the hotel it looked like a scene from the 1800's. Horse and Barrel has also made big changes this year and are now based at Twisted Oak Winery and use their spacious Vineyard and Trails for Twisted Rides.
So wandering around Calaveras County some days you never know what you might see. 30 plus horses and riders our exploring the area Old West Style...
