Penn Fire...90% Contained! Fire Line Improvement, Mop Up and Rehabilitation Day

Murphys, CA...There will be 330 People on the Penn Fire today. Current Situation: Overnight fire crews have continued their progress improving containment lines and mopping up the interior of the fire. Cooperating Agencies: USFS, CHP, CDCR, NPS, Murphys Fire, Calaveras SO, Altaville Melones Fire, Ebbets Pass Fire. Additional Information: Today’s focus will remain on fire line improvement and mop up, in addition to rehabilitating the areas disturbed by suppression efforts... Full Status Update Enclosed...
