New Physical Therapy Clinic Opening in Angels Camp

Sonora, CA...Sonora Regional Medical Center is expanding rehabilitation services to provide convenience and quality care for Calaveras County residents. Angels Camp Physical Therapy, located at 467 South Main Street, will open on Tuesday, September 18, with appointments available 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday through Friday. Alan Grant, PT, brings nearly 30 years of professional experience to the new rehabilitation clinic. He will provide one-on-one physical therapy sessions, allowing him to assess each patient’s progress and continually adjust their treatment plans to help them meet their goals...

Grant received his degree in Physical Therapy from Loma Linda University and has participated in hundreds of hours of continuing education. He has provided physical therapy treatment for patients in home health, outpatient clinics, and transitional care. He also worked in private practice in Angels Camp for several years. He has worked for Sonora Regional Medical Center since 1997.

Grant is dedicated to his work and inspired by the advances he has seen and practiced. “I’m excited about the higher level of care we can offer – treatments are so much better than just 15 or 20 years ago. We used to offer more passive therapy but now we engage patients in an active way, educate them about their condition and try to find exercises they can do at home for self-treatment.”

Angels Camp Physical Therapy will also be staffed by Kecia Bliss, who will help with the front office and also assist with some treatments. The office is furnished with new, high-quality stationary bikes, stair climbers, weights, resistance equipment and other devices to aid in therapy treatment plans.

For more information or to schedule your one-on-one appointment with Alan Grant, call Angels Camp Physical Therapy at 736-9266 or call 536-5040 to reach the Rehabilitation Department at Sonora Regional Medical Center.
