Restrictions apply but make sure to let them know you're a local when you're out supporting our local businesses. This Summer at Black Sheep Winery - The Black Sheep Winery Tasting Room will be featuring the artwork of local photographer Bernadette Callen throughout the summer. Come in and view Bernadette's photographs of the spectacular beauty of California's Sierras and North Coast, and enjoy some of Black Sheep's award winning wines such as the Double Gold and Best of Class 2009 Grenache and the State Fair Gold Medal winning 2008 Amador Co. Zinfandel....




At Cactus Jack's Dawghouse this Summer - Join us for a hot dog & the Giants Game on Fridays, come back

Thursdays & Saturdays in Murphys - Local Food Tours - Join Murphys Food and Wine Tours every Friday
and Saturday from 11:30 am to 3:00 pm. Each tour is approximately three hour and covers 1.5 miles of
walking along historic Main Street in Murphys and the surrounding streets. At least 8 food stops are included
and enough food is enjoyed to be considered a full meal. You’ll get the inside story about the area’s rough-and-
tumble past. It's an adventure for the mind and palate! Tickets for the Murphys Food and Wine Tour can be

Fridays & Saturday in Murphys- Zucca After Hours Wine Bar -Friday and Saturday nights,
our garden will be open from 5-8 pm for Wine Bar service “al’Italiano”. Pick your favorite seat

Enjoy live music on select nights.

September 22, 2012 – Concours D’Elegance at Ironstone Vineyards. - Come check out the 300+ antique

September 22, 2012 - Bushwalla is Back at Twisted Oak - Bushwalla
(aka Billy Galewood) began performing in musical theater at the early age
of nine. At 18 he was studying theater at the American Musical & Dramatic
Academy in New York City, supporting himself as a street performer by
incorporating such feats as juggling, magic, face-balancing, and fire-
breathing. Today, Bushwalla's sound has evolved into a unique blend of
acoustic hip-hop, folk, and funk with a soul deeply rooted in authenticity

September 29, 2012 - Celebrate Bodega del Sur Winery’s 5th Year
Anniversary from 1:00-4:00pm at The Garden across from the Black Bart
Theatre. The day will be filled with music, great food, and wonderful wine. Be
the first to taste Bodega del Sur’s latest wine release, 2008 Reserve Tempranillo.
The Tempranillo is Bodega del Sur’s flagship wine garnering awards from its first
introduction in 2008. We expect no less from the 2008 Reserve Tempranillo.
Pedro Sermeño will have you up and dancing. His repertoire includes traditional
Latin music like Bolero, Cumbia, Folk, and Ranchera. Chef Jason from Alchemy
Restaurant wowed our guests with his delicious food and outstanding
presentation at the first wine club appreciation event for Bodega del Sur and for

October 6, 2012 - Grape Stomp & Gold Rush Street Faire, Murphys - Celebrate the 19th anniversary of the
Calaveras Grape Stomp & Gold Rush Street Faire, from 9:30 am to 5 pm in the historic Gold Rush town of
Murphys, hosted by the Calaveras Winegrape Alliance. There is no charge to attend the event. Visit

October 6, 2012 - Native Sons Pancake Breakfast - The Native Sons OF The Golden West Chefs will be on
hand to serve their great Pancake breakfast for Grape Stop and Street Faire attendees. This special edition of
their breakfast is in addition to the monthly breakfast held the third Sunday of each month. Chairman Bert Abreo
invites all who participate in or attend these events to enjoy the all you can eat breakfast of pancakes, scrambled
eggs, sausage, biscuits and gravy, orange juice and coffee. Breakfast will be served from 7:30 to 11:30 a.m. at
the Native Sons Hall. The Native Sons of The Golden West was established in 1875 as an organization whose
