And the MCC Raffle Kayak Winner is Michelle Plotnik!!

Murphys, CA...Michelle Plotnik is the winner of this year's Murphys Community Park Raffle! For the past several years, Sierra Nevada Adventure Co. has donated a kayak to the Murphys Community Club to raise funds to assist with the maintenance of the Murphys Community Park. The MCC and SNAC Arnold & Murphys sell raffle tickets from Irish Days through all the First Fridays in the Park with the winner being drawn at the last event in the season....

Michelle was unable to attend the drawing due to her volunteer duties as the Executive Director of the Ebbett's Pass Scenic Byway Association as it was the night before Hermitfest. You may know Michelle as the long-standing past president of the Murphys Business Association, or for her tireless volunteering to make sure the Murphys Irish Days has been a success over the years. She purchased her tickets thinking they were just a donation to a great cause, since she's never won anything. Karma has caught up with her and now when she's not volunteering, she can be found paddling! The MCC and SNAC would like to thank the community for their generosity in purchasing raffle tickets. 100% of the proceeds of the raffle go directly toward maintaining the Park.
