Mark Twain St. Joseph’s Hospital Welcomes Dr. Pettersen to the Family Medical Center-San Andreas
San Andreas, CA...Mark Twain St. Joseph’s Hospital (MTSJH) Hospital President Craig Marks announced that Gabriel Pettersen, MD, will serve the Family Medical Center in San Andreas. “We are delighted to offer another experienced family practice physician to patients in the Family Medical Center,” said Marks, adding “Dr. Pettersen is board certified in internal medicine.”...
Dr. Gabriel Pettersen graduated from St. George’s University School of medicine in 2001. After graduating from medical school, Dr. Pettersen had three years of post-graduate training through King-Drew Medical Center and at Harbor UCLA. He specializes in internal medicine and is known throughout the hospital for his work in analyzing cardiac stress tests, conducting endoscopies, and proving patient care.
Dr. Pettersen joins the San Andreas team that includes physician assistants Tim Day and Jen Joses. Located below the campus at Mark Twain St. Joseph’s Hospital, the Family Medical Center provides care in a traditional family practice setting, treating newborns to seniors. With support from a committed staff, the team of medical professionals delivers a range of medical services from preventive care to same day appointments.
“I am looking forward to providing care to the community at the Family Medical Center in San Andreas,” replied Dr. Pettersen. “I have worked many years with Jen Joses and Tim Day; they are both clinically sound and compassionate providers.”
