Forest Meadows Food Drive on December 3rd
Murphys, CA...Forest Meadows will hold their second annual Food Drive to benefit the Resource Connection Food Bank. Grocery bags (donated by Save Mart) have been distributed by volunteers to each of the residences in Forest Meadows. Homeowners are asked to fill the bags with groceries and/or contribute a check to the Resource Connection. Volunteers will be at the exit gate on Monday, December 3 from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. to collect the filled bags.
Volunteers are hoping for an outpouring of generosity to benefit the many needy families in Calaveras County. The food drive is being coordinated by the Forest Meadows Hospitality Committee, whose chairman is Sue Friedman. Chairperson for the event is Mary Piumarta.
