The Hills Are Alive With the Sounds of Skiers and Boarders
Bear Valley, CA...Bear Valley's Free Ski Day to kick off the 2012-13 Season has been a great success. A good sized crowd in on hand to celebrate the start of the season and get some runs in before December 21st just in case those pesky Mayans were correct. Dodge Ridge will open tomorrow and Kirkwood has been open for a few weeks now. Our local daily snow reports will start tomorrow...

I had to be on the road early yesterday.
It was fun to watch the car loads of people with their gear on top, driving up the mountain. Every one was being a good driver too.
