The Arnold Community Says Thank You to Retiring UPS Driver Mike Mainguth
Arnold, CA...For over two decades one familiar and reliable presence along the Ebbetts Pass Corridor has been UPS Driver Mike Mainguth. Michael has worked on Hwy. 4 from Angels Camp to Bear Valley for over 30 years. The past 24 years as a United Parcel Service delivery driver. The community has put a banner across Hwy 4 in Arnold thanking him for his service. He also recently raised his profile even a bit higher as he and his wife Evelyn recently were one of the winning couples in Dancing With the Stars at Ironstone.

One of the best things about Mike, and living in a small town, is no matter where you were in town, Mike would see you and deliver your package -- at the gym, in the parking lot, driving by.....anywhere!

Mike, what an awesome UPS driver. I could always count on my packages being delivered at about the same time every day no matter what type of weather it was. The banner says it all. Obviously you have made an impact in this community over the years. Hopefully your replacement UPS driver will follow in your footsteps.

I know you won't miss one of our 18 stairs.
Thank you for all of your help as we recreated a safe home to live in....lots of deliveries from Mike, without complaint.
Our first Christmas eve here, 25 years ago, there was a knock on the door at 9 p.m, during a snowstorm. It was UPS delivering us our only Christmas present. I think we are pretty darn lucky to have a guy like Mike as part of our EP family. May 2013 be a great year for you.

We can't thank you enough for your dedicated service over the years. You always kept an eye on our place when we were away and hid our delivered packages (from others, not us) so they would be safe in our absence. You never complained about our long driveway or having to turn around to go back out.
May God bless you as you enjoy the next phase of your life, and may you get to do all those things that you have been waiting to do 'when you had more time.'
