Welcome Home Vietnam Veterans presents Vietnam Veteran’s Recognition Day Benefit
Sonora, CA...Black Oak Casino Resort, the Tuolumne County Chamber of Commerce, the Vietnam Veteran’s Chapter #391, and Umpqua Bank will be celebrating Vietnam Veteran’s Recognition Day with a special benefit event to be held at the Willow Creek Lounge at Black Oak Casino Resort on Friday March 22, 2013 from 7:00 PM to 10:00 PM....
This special night will kick off with the doors opening at 6:30 PM for light appetizers, sponsored by Seven Sisters, followed by a keynote speaker and an honored vet program beginning at 7:00 PM. The highlight of the evening will be a dance concert featuring the Boys of Summer who are one of the top Eagles Tributes performing today.
This benefit’s proceeds provide support for the Vietnam Veteran’s Post # 391 and the Tuolumne County Chamber of Commerce. Sponsorship opportunities are available for print recognition both in the program and as a silent auction prize by contacting George Segarini at the Chamber offices at 209 532 4212.
The Welcome Home Vietnam Veteran’s Program was the brainchild of Vietnam Vet’s Post #391. Their program started with the hugely successful Welcome Home parade in 2010 and continued with a concert-dance at the Sonora Opera Hall along with the American Veterans Traveling Tribute at the Mother Lode Fairgrounds in 2011. $15.00 tickets for the March 22, 2013 Benefit Event are available by contacting the Chamber of Commerce at 209 532-4212 or info@tcchamber.com or at the Gift Basket at Black Oak Casino Resort.
