Only Minor Injuries for Young Mother and Infant Son in Rollover Accident
Valley Springs, CA...A 23 year old Wallace Mother and her 1 year old son sustained minor injuries in a roll over accident on Hwy 12 near Haskell Street. About 7:30pm last night she was driving her 2006 Honda Pilot eastbound on Hwy 12 and for reasons unknown experienced severe pain which caused her to lose control of the Honda. Her vehicle traveled off the roadway and collided with a tree on the south shoulder of Hwy 12...

The force caused the Honda to overturn and eventually come to rest on it's roof partially in the eastbound lane facing a westerly direction. She was able to exit the vehicle as well as remove her son from his car seat before emergency personnel arrived.
She was restrained by her seat belt while her son was restrained in an approved car seat. Due to both occupants being properly secured their lives were saved. She was transported to Mark Twain Hospital for complaint of pain to her neck and back. Her son was taken home by family members with only bruises.
