Developing Visual Literacy Series with Dale Laitinen “Marriage of Line and Color”

Indoor/Outdoor (Some Drawing and Watercolor Experience Suggested) Petroglyphe Gallery is proud to offer the continuation of Dale Laitinen’s Developing Visual Literacy Series. The next workshop, “Marriage of Line and Color,” will be held on Saturday, March 9th from 10 am to 2:30 pm. This workshop is for those with some experience in drawing and watercolor who want to develop skills for combining line and color. Participants will learn a variety of techniques to combine drawing with watercolor. Join us at Petroglyphe Gallery for this exciting journey of visual discovery...

Petroglyphe Gallery is located at 8317 Main Street, Mokelumne Hill, California, two blocks off of Highway 49, across the street from the historic Hotel Legér. The gallery is open Thursdays through Saturdays 11:30 am - 5:30 pm and Sundays 11:30 am - 4:00 pm.
Dale Laitinen is best known for his watercolor paintings of the mountains and deserts of the Western United States. He is a signature member of the National Watercolor Society and Watercolor West. Laitinen has conducted workshops throughout the United States and in France. He lives and works in Mountain Ranch, California.
