Calaveras On Display
San Andreas, CA... Gallery Calaveras artists bring you a little bit of what you see and know in the upcoming Calaveras On Display art exhibit. You will view scenes familiar to you as you travel through the county just by visiting the Calaveras Arts Council’s Gallery, located at 22 N. Main Street in San Andreas. The exhibit runs from April 27 through June 1, 2013...
Artists will transport you to county parks, showcase historic buildings and bridges, tease you with migrating deer, turkeys in a run, and amaze you with the landscape that you call home. Their imagination, thought, and expression though photography, acrylic, oil, and ceramic creations guarantee you a free, Calaveras road trip. All art pieces are available for purchase.
Local artists contributing to this gallery show are Cate Culver, Libby Fife, Ruth Morrow, Lori Kelly, Pete Kelly, Ken Winebrenner, Judy Morgan, Margaret Roberts, Kim Barrington, Cathi Newlin, Ty Childress, Lynn M Lynn, Donna McCormick, Susie Hoffman, Kate Frederick, Helen Scofield, just to name a few.
A reception will be held from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm on April 27 at the Gallery. The public is welcome. Snacks and beverages will be served.
The not-for-profit Calaveras Arts Council operates Gallery Calaveras at 22 Main Street in San Andreas. Hours are weekdays, 9:00 am to 4:00 pm and Saturdays, 11:00 am to 3:00 pm. The gallery offers free parking both in front and in back and is handicapped accessible. The next gallery art show is "Creatures in the Garden” and it will open June 8. It runs through July 30.
