Calaveras County Master Gardeners April Events
San Andreas, CA... Calaveras County Master Gardeners will conduct their Spring Plant Sale on Friday April 26 from 3PM – 6PM. Do not miss this unique annual sale where you can pick up starts as well established plants ready for your garden. Our monthly Open Garden Day and Plant Sale is on Saturday, April 27th located at the County Government Center, 891 Mountain Ranch Road, San Andreas, the garden will open to the public at 10AM and close at 2PM....
This Saturday April 27th, we will devote our attention to propagating plants from seeds. Experienced gardeners will be available to discuss specific and general techniques for success. Additionally we will feature the Top 20 Perennials for the Foothills and a limited number of these species will also be available for sale.
Master Gardeners will answer home gardening questions as well as assist in identifying and diagnosing plant and pest problems. They can also provide key tips on how to navigate the vast resources available to you from the University of California. When the garden is not open, home gardening assistance is offered by Master Gardeners through the help line at: 209-754-2880. The public may leave a message regarding the problem and a Master Gardener will return the call.
The Demonstration Garden is a project of the Calaveras County Master Gardeners whose primary goal is to educate the public about home gardening. Proceeds from plant sales support the Master Gardener’s education programs and maintenance of the Demonstration Garden.
