Hi my name is Nicole Harp. I am a seventeen year old Junior at Calaveras High School. I have been riding horses for the past 9 years.I enjoy barrel racing and western pleasure. I am active in FFA where I raise swine, and am currently working toward my State Degree. After I graduate from high school I plan to attend Chico State or Fresno State pursuing a career in agriculture. I would like to thank my sponsors Harp Learning Institute and Gold Star Horse Shoeing.

Hello, my name is Julia Kalika and I am a 17 year-old Junior at Bret Harte High School. The horse I will be using for the Saddle Queen Competition is Jack and my sponsors are Big Trees Market and Gateway Press.

Hello! My name is Samantha Cobb and I am a 17 year old junior at Bret Harte High School. My mother is Vicki Cobb and we are currently living in Murphys, Ca. The trusty steed I will be riding for the competition is a dark bay horse nicknamed Buddy! I’ve had a passion for horses since I was three years old however most of my riding experience has come from the last four years volunteering with horseback tours at Horse and Barrel. I also competed for the Calaveras Saddle Queen competition two years ago in 2011. I learned so much and now I’m back and ready for more! I give a huge thanks to my sponsors for supporting me: Horse and Barrel Horseback Tours, Nourish Feed and Supply, Outer Aisle Food and Goods, The Nugget Bar, and Laura Schenck's Star Performance Horses. Make sure to see us in action at the 2013 Calaveras County Fair & Jumping Frog Jubilee!

Hello, My name is McKensey Middleton. I am fifteen years old and currently attend Bret Harte High School. I will be riding my horse, Sugar, in the 2013 Calaveras Saddle Queen competition.
