Mark Twain Medical Center Welcomes Family Practice Physician Ravinder Kadevari to Copperopolis
San Andreas, CA...May 10, 2013– Mark Twain Medical Center announces the recruitment of Dr. Ravinder Kadevari to Copperopolis, where he will practice Internal Medicine in the Tri-County area. He will be joining the Mark Twain Family Medical Center Copperopolis with Nurse Practitioner, Marti Eppenberger. “We are excited to welcome Dr. Kadevari to our community,” said Craig Marks, Hospital President. “Dr. Kadevari brings over thirty years of experience and has been practicing throughout Northern California for the past eighteen. His medical knowledge will be an asset in serving our community, adding an internist physician will help us better serve the county’s healthcare needs.” “I am delighted to be moving to beautiful Calaveras County, and working at the prestigious Mark Twain Medical Center and the well known Family Medical Centers,” commented Dr. Kadevari. “I always wanted to be a small town doctor and practice medicine the right way – to treat the patient as a whole, not as a number, or health insurance status. I want to live and work in a place where other people vacation, the wide open places, the green hills, numerous lakes & streams, awesome wineries and world class Golf Courses and restaurants. Having vacationed in Calaveras County over the years I finally listened to my Heart.”
Dr. Kadevari completed his internal medicine residencies at University of Nevada Medical Center, and Presbyterian Medical Center, in Pennsylvania. He is board eligible the with American Board of Internal Medicine. He is a certified Medical Review Officer and has over 15 years practicing Occupational Medicine. Dr. Kadevari is joining us from US Health Works Medical Group in San Leandro, where he has been practicing as both a physician and Medical Director.
Internal medicine physicians are specialists who apply scientific knowledge and clinical expertise to the diagnosis, treatment, and compassionate care of adults across the spectrum from health to complex illness. At least three of their seven or more years of medical school and postgraduate training are dedicated to learning how to prevent, diagnose, and treat diseases that affect adults. Internists are sometimes referred to as the "doctor's doctor," because they are often called upon to act as consultants to other physicians to help solve puzzling diagnostic problems.
In serving the Copperopolis area, Dr. Kadevari will join the healthcare team of Marti Eppenberger, a nurse practitioner; Dean White, LCSW who specializes in psychotherapy and Tim Rourke, Ph. D Psychologist. Dr. Kadevari can be reached at the Family Medical Center – Copperopolis at 785-7000. The practice welcomes returning and new patients alike.
