Mokelumne Hill Parties On The Fourth
Mokelumne Hill, CA....Downtown Mokelumne Hill was filled to overflowing for the annual Independence Day Parade and celebration. Grand Marshals Gene and Kathy Weatherby, Beauty Queens, Saddle Queens, classic automobiles, horses, businesses and more made their way down Main Street. One of the best entries was "Old Blue" the classic hand-pumper fire engine from the San Andreas Fire Department. It wasn't just a parade entry but an actual working demonstration of 19th century fire technology. Video of this is near the end of the parade video....
