2013 Calaveras Follies DVD Now Available!
Angels Camp, CA – The long-awaited DVD and photos of the 2013 Calaveras Follies are now available at www.calaverasfollies.com. The DVD and photos are only available through the Follies website. This year’s DVD was created and donated by Brandon Towne and Tim Hildabrand of HStar Technologies, Inc., who also donate all the website and tech services for the Follies. Photography was donated by Vicki Aguilar of Darling Photography and high-quality photos are now available for downloading from the website.
The Calaveras Follies returned in March 2013 after a one-year hiatus. The event took place at a Bret Harte Theater as A Night at the OSCARS, a Hollywood-themed evening replete with the fanfare of a red carpet, paparazzi, celebrity sightings and the Follies’ signature hilarious lip-synched musical revue. More than 15 acts were performed by local “stars” with a host of celebrity (impersonator) presenters.
The 2013 Calaveras Follies was presented by the Calaveras Mentoring Foundation and the Bret Harte Student Leadership Class, and raised almost $13,000 for the Calaveras Youth Mentoring Program.
