Fowler Due Back in Court in November
San Andreas, CA..The next hearing in the Fowler case where now 13 year old Isiah Fowler is accused in the death of his 8 year old sister Leila will be November 13th...
He has plead not-guilty in the April 27th death of Leila.

As a local news outlet the best thing we can do for the communities we serve is to have news like this be on the back burner. The tragedy has already happened and regardless of the outcome of the trial and whether the young man spends a portion of his life behind bars or not the bulk of the damage has already been done.
Regardless of his guilt or innocence, his and the family's lives have already probably been damaged beyond reasonable expectations of repair and one precious 8 year old's life has been ended.
Out of area media outlets can garner traffic from a story like this one as a crime story etc. For local residents in our estimation we already know too many details and unless it is close to decision time the best thing we can do for the Valley Springs area is not keep pictures on our front page reminding us of what we already know.
