The Clothes Mine is Bringing Saks Fifth Avenue Experience to Main Street
Angels Camp, CA....We had the pleasure last week to chat with The Clothes Mine's Tracy & James Lindenberger. They are among a growing segment of our local small business owners that are bringing major market, experience and knowledge to small town America. Tracy is a former Saks Fifth Avenue store manager and the couple even met while working at Saks. The retail and fashion industry has been their career choice. One of the things they have enjoyed about the transition to a more personal relationship with their customers is they can buy and stock with an eye how the fashions will actually look on local customers. Their beautiful Angels Camp location even has a full bridal section upstairs in addition to the latest fashions....

The store is coming up on it's first year anniversary and has brought another great shopping experience to Main Street.
Yes they are and we thank them for being an advertiser but their story is worth celebrating as a reminder that in small towns in rural America what you see is not large corporate entities and big box after big box stores but real people and families placing big bets on their hopes and dreams working hard to make them a success.
The Clothes Mine has three rural locations. In historic downtown Angels Camp, San Andreas and Sutter Creek.
