Bike Caper Update! Mrs. Furuya's Stolen Bike Was Returned.
White Pines, CA...Dear Arnold Friends & Neighbors, Something GREAT happened at Hazel Fischer School. Our school librarian Mrs. Furuya’s bike was returned today! Someone left it at Arnold Chevron. Some of the blue paint has been sanded off & the kickstand is gone, but it has a new tire! That part is funny. Mrs. Furuya took her bike into every classroom so we could all celebrate together, & told the children...
"Someone did something wrong, thought again, & has now made things right. If you do something wrong, you can make it right.” Thank you all for your concern & your eagle eyes, looking at every bike to see it it’s blue. This took a village, the wonderful town we live in. A special thank you to the nice people at Arnold Chevron and to Brandy Thompson for making flyers and putting them up all over town. With joy, Hazel Fischer Staff
