Kathy Fristensky 1941 - 2013
Hathaway Pines, CA...Kathy Fristensky entered into her heavenly reward on November 19, 2013 from her home in Hathaway Pines, CA. Kathy was born July 5, 1941 in Brooklyn, New York to George and Catherine Kane. She was a loving wife, caring mother and doting grandmother. She was most proud of her family and also had many significant accomplishments in her life and career. She helped educate and build the faith of hundreds of children by serving as a master catechist and director of religious education for the Diocese of Oakland and Diocese of Stockton. She enhanced her community by serving several terms as president to the Clayton Women’s Club. Earlier in her career Kathy was a nationally recognized puppeteer and put smiles on thousands of faces through her original, entertaining shows...
Kathy is survived by her husband of 47 years, Bob, son George and his wife Tina, daughter Kathryn, son Joseph, son Andrew and his wife Marea, her four grandchildren Mary (16), David (14), Sarah (12), and Dylan (1), her sister Judy Callan and her brother, Danny Kane.
Kathy is preceded in death by her son Robert, and brothers, George Kane and Billy Kane.
Kathy will "… be happy forever in the next life".
A viewing will be held at Angels Memorial Chapel on Friday, November 22 from 2-7 PM with a Rosary beginning at 7PM. Kathy’s funeral Mass will be at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in Angels Camp on Saturday, November 23 at 1PM.
