James (Jim) Leone, 65 Passed Away November 27, 2013

Copperopolis, CA...James (Jim) Leone, 65, passed away on November 27, 2013. Jim was born in Oakland, CA., and lived the past 13 years in Copperopolis. He is survived by his wife, Laurie, mother Gladys Leone of Hayward, sister and brother-in-law Pat and Jack Darcey of Newark, CA., brother-in-law Merlin Bart, brother-in-law Ronald (Kathi) Bart, sister-in-law Valerie (Moses) Geller, nieces Wendy (Mark) Ruiz, Cheyenne Manning and Alexandra Geller (Mario) of Studio City; nephew Matt (Madelyn) Bart of Round Rock, Texas and 4 great nephews, Canon, Seth, Ronin and Sebastian; his “adopted” sons, Zack and Brett Anisko of Copperopolis and several aunts and uncles. He is also survived by his little buddy, Rocky, the cat...



A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, December 14, 2014 at 11:00AM at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church, 820 South Main St., Angels Camp, CA (209-736-4575).

Jim was preceded in death by his paternal and maternal grandparents (Leone/Friedman), his father Joseph Leone and nephew Michael Darcey.

A graveside service will be held at a later date in Copperopolis.

Please, no flowers. Rather, donations can be made in Jim’s name to Helping Hands, c/o St. Patricks Church, P.O. Box 576, Angels Camp, CA 95222.
