It's Beginning To Look A Lot Like... The Holidays In Bear Valley!
Bear Valley, CA...Lots of Fun Trails Open! Bear Valley Cross Country's trail system is open daily with at least 18 trails with groomed track and skating lanes. The staff has been performing their magic on the trails and the customer comments confirm that the XC skiing is fantastic! The groomed Tubing Area opens on Friday, December 20th. The cost is $16 per person for a 2-hour session, must be 3+ years of age (able to ride down the hill by yourself), and only BVCC rental tubes are allowed. The groomed trail system is open daily from 9am to 4:30pm and the tubing area is open daily from 9am to 4:00pm, except on Christmas Day, when the trails and tubing area close early at 2:00pm and the store and gas station close at 2:30pm.
Fat Snow Biking
The new sport of Fat Snow Biking is super fun. It is snow condition specific and requires firm packed snow (like our xc trails) for trail riding. When the snow conditions are right, we'll offer adult sized (xs through large) fat bikes for hourly rentals in the mornings (9-noon, trail pass required on our trails) on certain days of the week (excluding Saturdays & holiday Sundays), and will offer a nice selection of marked fat bike trails that are shard with xc skiers and snowshoers. Photo season passes can now be picked up at Bear Valley Cross Country. While here, be sure to check out the new winter clothing, accessories and gear...maybe do a little holiday shopping! Remember, season pass holders can show their pass and get a 10% discount off of any non-sale clothing items.

If you purchased a Bear Valley Mountain Unrestricted Season Pass for the 2013-14 ski season, just present your receipt to Bear Valley Cross Country and get a 2013-14 Mountain Meadow Cross Country Season Pass upgrade for only $100 (price valid all winter). Note: You must be have a 2013-14 photo season pass issued by Bear Valley Cross Country to ski on the trails. Spend your morning at the mountain skiing or snowboarding and your afternoon in the meadow cross country skiing or snowshoeing!
