Hotel Mardi Gras Party In The "Courthouse Jail"
Mokelumne Hill, CA...On Saturday, March 1, 2014 from 5pm-8pm we will host a Mardi Gras party and dinner in the renovated "Courthouse Jail" that is now a beautiful wine cellar banquet room. The evening will feature a fabulous Cajun-Creole meal prepared by our own Chef Chuck Swisher, accompanied by wine pairings hosted by our own local Renegade Winery. The menu is enclosed...
 
APPETIZERS - Oysters Rockefeller, Boiled Crawfish w/Remoulade Sauce, Cajun Fried Chicken
SALAD - "Beans and Greens of New Orleans" - a tasty blend of black-eyed peas, kidney beans, corn, garlic, arugula and kale, mixed with a savory mustard herb dressing
ENTREES - Jambalaya and Shrimp Etouffee served over Rice
DESSERTS - Bananas Foster and Blueberry-Pecan Bread Pudding w/Orange Vanilla Bourbon Sauce
The Whiewater Saloon will be open and serving a variety of New Orleans classics such as Hurricanes, Ramos Gin Fizz, Vieux Carre, and others!
There will also be live music by Annie Marie & FiddleAround - come and dance to their infectious beat of Cajun, Zydeco, New Orleans Blues and Swamp Boogie, They will also lead a Mardi Gras parade around the streets of Moke Hill to end the evening.
