Grand Opening For Rolling Dough Pizza Set For March 10th
Angels Camp, CA...Rolling Dough Pizza, Angels Camp’s newest restaurant, will hold its Grand Opening on Monday, March 10, at 12 noon at its restaurant at 244 S. Main Street in Angels Towne Plaza. The media and the public are invited to join in the celebrations. The grand opening ceremony will be officiated by a member of the City Council as well as representatives of Destination Angels Camp and the Angels Camp Business Association. It is open to the public, and refreshments will be served so everyone will have a chance to sample the offerings...
The Angels Camp shop is the second operation for Rolling Dough Pizza’s owners Margarita and Wes Greer. Their San Andreas restaurant has been in operation for 10 years and was owned and managed by Margarita’s parents before she took it over three years ago.
“We were looking for a second location,” says Margarita Greer, “and found this location in the Angels Towne Plaza between Save Mart and Rite Aid. It’s ideal for us. We’re already getting lots of walk-ins at lunch and dinner time. In fact, it’s been awesome!”
At lunchtime, Rolling Dough Pizza offers pizza by the slice, as well as salads and drinks. At dinner time, it offers ‘take ‘n bake pizzas.
“What distinguishes us is that all our food is fresh,” says Greer. “There are no preserved or frozen items and we use all homemade recipes. There is always an owner – my husband or myself – on site. Everything is clean and simple with good prices.”
Rolling Dough Pizza offers weekly and monthly specials. Proving popular with customers is the Pizza Lotto, where customers make their own pizza with various sauces and toppings. If it looks and tastes like a ‘winner’, Rolling Dough Pizza will put that pizza on the menu for two weeks so that others can try it.
