Major Injuries In Camanche Parkway South S/of Wilkinson Lane Accident
Wallace, CA...A 52 year old Burson Woman was driving Vehicle 1 (Ford) northbound on Camanche Parkway South, south of Wilkinson Lane at an unknown speed. Due to her level of intoxication, she allowed her vehicle to drift off the right side of the roadway. She then turned her vehicle's steering wheel hard to the left and over-corrected, causing her to lose control of the vehicle. The vehicle careened out of control and exited the west side of the roadway, subsequently colliding with a large tree. The vehicle came to rest vertically, with the front bumper on the ground and the rear bumper in the air. After the collision, she remained trapped inside the vehicle until she was extricated by Calaveras Consolidated and Jackson Valley Fire personnel....
She sustained major injuries and was taken to Memorial North in Modesto. Alcohol was a significant factor in this collision. This collision is still under investigation.
