Some Of The Great New Best Friends At The Shelter
San Andreas, CA....Rowdy is a about 4 months old and is a Pit Bull/Boxer mix who presently weighs in at 17 pounds.. Rowdy is a great puppy who loves to give kisses and play. He is pretty mild for a young pup, not too mouthy and so far, not much of a barker. He is more into play and affection. If you are looking for a cute puppy to snuggle and train, come down to the shelter and play with Rowdy. He is so cute, he won’t be here long. He will have to be neutered before going home. Gordo is a Terrier Mix possibly Rat Terrier mixed with Chihuahua . He is the perfect travel size at just under 12 lbs. He is only 8 mos old so still a puppy who needs to be reminded of the proper socialization skills. Perhaps a puppy class for the two of you would be fun. He is very friendly and loves to snuggle up in your lap. He tested negative for heartworm. Gordo will need to be neutered before going home with you. Kali is an American Staffordshire mix and is about 2 years old, who weighs in at 54 pounds. Kali is a very nice girl who is looking for a nice family to live with. Kali likes activity and loves to be snuggled. Kali does pull on leash and would benefit from doggy obedience classes. Come down to the shelter and visit with this lovely blonde, you just may fall in love. Kali will have to be spayed before going home with you. Good news, Kali is heart worm negative!

Pansy is a black tri-colored Chihuahua mix who's about 5 years old, admits to weighing 14.1 pounds, is Heartworm negative and had shots on arrival at the shelter (but will need a rabies shot). She loves a good, long snuggle with her person and will happily join you for a nap! She qualifies for the 55-5 program. Come meet Pretty Pansy and see if you qualify for a gentle little kiss which will win your heart. She'll need to be spayed before she can become forever yours. Monica is a 3 year old Rottweiler/Lab X, who weighs in at 78 lbs. Monica is an exuberant girl who likes people and other dogs. This girl would do very well with a human companion who is interested in spending time with her and providing her with training. She is eager to learn and wants to please. If you are looking for a large companion Monica just may be your girl. She is up on all her shots and has already been spayed!

Tanner is a Pit Bull X. He weighs in at 50 lbs. and is probably fully grown and just needs to fill out a little. We think he is about 8 months to a year old. Tanner is a fun fellow, but he needs to learn how to be better behaved. Tanner would benefit from taking an obedience class with you and learn how to walk on leash and become the best companion ever. If you are an energetic person who enjoys the outdoors, Tanner is waiting to meet you. Tanner will need to be neutered before going home with you.
