Bret Harte Swimmers Outkick Calaveras High

Angels Camp, CA ... Today was a stellar day for the Bret Harte Swim Team. Coming off of three away meets in the last two weeks, being back in their home pool the team swam numerous personal bests and were able to place extremely well against Calaveras. The girls relay teams had a record breaking day. Placing first in the 200 medley relay, junior Bethanni Riedel (backstroke), Freshman Elise Sanzeri (breastroke), Junior Shelby Warner (butterfly), and freshman April Johnson (freestyle). correction: the Boys 200 freestyle is not the first event of the meet.

Colin Boblet and Henry Jeanor, along with Logan Millar were coached to just beat out the Calaveras swimmers in the 200 freestyle without exerting themselves too much, thereby saving energy for their other races.

Which teams have the "broken records" in the girls relays, the claim is confusing. This report makes this claim without substantiating the claims or sharing which teams broke records.
