SF Scottish Fiddlers Dance Tonight At Native Sons Hall

Murphys, CA....A Ceilidh, (pronounced Kay…Lee) led by 80 San Francisco Scottish Fiddlers, is coming to Murphys! The SF Scottish Fiddlers, along with Alasdair Fraser, are coming to inspire the community with an uplifting experience of music and dance. A Ceilidh is a traditional Gaelic social gathering, which usually involves playing Gaelic folk music and dancing. There will be dance callers, guitars, keyboards, percussion, cellos, and more. Local musicians are encouraged to join in and play with the group or to contribute a tune of their own, a dance, or a song....

It’s also a time to be social or relax on the sidelines in a chair while watching friends or children enjoy themselves. Bring a dish or snack to share. Wine bar and soft beverages available. Let’s give them a warm welcome!
