Angels Camp Starbucks To Help Harmony Ranch As Community Service Project

Angels Camp, CA...In the spirit of Starbucks Coffee Company community service month, on Wednesday, April 23rd 2014, Starbucks is teaming up with Harmony Ranch, located in Mountain Ranch Ca., a non-profit horsemanship program offering recreational therapeutic services to children and adults with or without special needs. Partners and customers are welcome to help in the construction of two above ground planter boxes, installing two horse hitching posts, and performing general barn maintenance....

The programs of Harmony Ranch provide an atmosphere of safety, understanding and ethical treatment of humans and horses engaged in equine-assisted activities.

We are asking for help in the donation of supplies needed to complete the above projects. Donations can be made by dropping off at the Angels Camp, Ca. Starbucks or by contacting Deric Mann (408) 204-2441 to arrange pick up.

*Supplies requested:
6’ T-stakes (10)
5 yards of planting soil
Tomato cages (10)
Summer vegetables (tomato, squash, peppers)
2” X 12” pressure treated lumber (6)
4” X 10’ rounds for hitching post (4)

*If you are unable to make a donation of supplies, please consider a small donation of cash towards the purchase of supplies needed for the project or donate your time on April 23rd at Harmony Ranch in Mountain Ranch! Donations can be made in store and at www.harmonyranchca.org (please be sure to specify that the donation is toward the Starbucks project).

Partners and customers are encouraged to sign up for working the project on the Starbucks Community Service website at http://community.starbucks.com.
