Woman's Handgun Clinic Being Offered Free of Charge By Angels Gun Club

Angels Camp, CA...This class is for women only and is intended for any women who are interested in learning the basics of how to handle a handgun and firearm safety, in a fun, non-threatening environment with other women of like mind. You must be 18 years of age or older and not be prohibited by court order from handling, or possessing guns. This will be checked before class time. This class is primarily intended for the beginning shooter, who has never been instructed in the proper use/handling of a firearm. It will help you overcome your fear of firearms, concerns about self-protection, increase your knowledge of the shooting sport and provide instruction about the responsibilities of firearm users/owners. You will learn safe firearms handling, the basics of marksmanship, loading, unloading and firing of firearms. The class is taught by long-time, experienced Instructors. This is NOT a Carry Concealed Weapon class....

The classroom presentation will include various types of firearms, their associated ammunitions, range etiquette and safety. Following the classroom presentation, the class moves to the range for live fire exercises.

All necessary equipment is provided, including: handguns, ammunition, ear & eye protection. Primary handgun used is .22 caliber. Following the initial practice with
the .22’s, the student will have an opportunity to try out a .38 special revolver, 9mm,
.40 and .45 calibers at the end of class.

This is an AMAZING class that they generously put on for free. Recommend every woman take this class to familiarize yourself with and ease your fears of gun handling.

I'm looking forward to the course. I think every one should understand and respect firearms, regardless if they own one. You never know when you'll need one.
