May 26 is Memorial Day and a very appropriate choice for this dedication.

Memorial Day is to Honor our Veterans that sacrificed everything for our freedom. There are some disrespectful comments here about partying and drinking. I doubt that any of these commenters are Veterans.

Are you saying Veterans can't have a party on Memorial Day? I spent 6 years in the military, 2 of that in Vietnam. I will be partying on Memorial day and remembering my buddy's who can no longer do that. Do you have a problem with that?
Give a vet a break, the holidays are the only time most of you even think of the people serving and who died serving.
You must be a very sanctimonious person to imply that a veteran is out of line by partying.

Party and drink all you want. Please just do not drink and drug and drive. Thank you.

Veteran's Day 2013 was my husbands final outing. He stood so proud,so strong (no walker allowed :) as the ceremony began. He rested for 2 days so he could be there. He's gone now,but never will be forgotten.
I hope his brick and our sons brick will be ready in time.
I miss both of them but am proud that they will have a place of honor on the wall.

Glad to see this happening! I will try to attend.

As for the party and drinking comments, if any knows how to do those two things, its military members on their days off. I don't see it as disrespectful.

Never forget those who gave the ultimate sacrifice.

And, as a wife of a Ebbetts Pass Veteran's Memorial District board member, please remember to thank the Kautz family for offering to enlarge the memorial that the EPVMD had there. This new area will be something to be proud of.

THANK YOU EPVMD FOR OFFERING THIS OPPORTUNITY, ONCE AGAIN, to honor, remember, salute OR CELEBRATE every single US Veteran. Yes, they should all be remembered every day and that's why the memorial is so nice to have in the community. I drive by often and am thankful to all that have served in peace or war...and those that continue to serve!

There are only two types of men who have died so that you might have a chance at Eternal Life. Yashua The Only Begotten Son of YHWH and the soldier of the land you live upon so you might be able to give thanks to the first man and have that chance at Eternal Life through Yashua.
