Bear Valley Resorts Announces Ownership Change

Bear Valley, CA...Bear Valley Resorts announced today that a restructuring of the partnerships has been completed and the TBH interests (Toeniskoetter, Breeding and Hallgrimson) have exited the group. The Dundee and Radar entities will continue as 50/50 owners and operators of the Resorts. Since coming together to purchase the Resort assets in 2005, the partners worked diligently to complete the EIR (Environmental Impact Report for the village) and EA (Environmental Assessment at the mountain) required to redevelop the area. In January of 2013 the company reported that the regulatory approvals for the Bear Valley expansion had been completed and they were actively seeking the capital to move the project forward...

According to Greg Finch, "The change in ownership reduces the complexity of current and future negotiations for the ski area and village assets." Finch added, "the change has not altered the immediate goal to sell the property. We continue to show it and we have been working with a number of interested parties."

The operational status of the ski area and the village is unchanged as a result of the partnership change. The Dundee group will continue as the management team of the Bear Valley Resort entities; which include Bear Valley Mountain, The Bear Valley Lodge, The Base Camp Lodge and
the Bear Valley Village Center.
