Lynnda Lee Lowry - July 12, 1953 - May 23, 2014

Sonora, Ca...Lynnda Lee Lowry lost her 10-year battle with Leukemia and joined our Father in Heaven on Friday, May23rd, 2014. She was sixty years old. She was born Lynnda Lee Zarp on July 12, 1953 in Carmel-by-the-Sea, California. She lived in Calaveras and Tuolumne Counties since 1980. Lynnda most enjoyed spending time outside kayaking and hiking in the woods. She took great pride in her garden and could grow anything. She also was very proud of her accomplishments as a synchronized swimmer, in which she won many awards.

Lynnda Lee Lowry lost her 10-year battle with Leukemia and joined our Father in Heaven on Friday, May23rd, 2014.

She was very kind hearted and would help anyone in need, even if it meant sacrificing her own needs.

She was always ready for an adventure and loved to create priceless memories. She showed her amazing strength through many life challenges while raising three very beautiful girls. She always pushed things to the limit and always lived life to the fullest. She will be sorely missed by all of those who were close to her. We will miss her laugh, her stories, and most of all her sense of humor.

She is preceded in death by her mother, father, sister and son. She is survived by her two sisters, Barbara and Darlene; three daughters, Aimeé, Sharlene and Lora; three grandchildren and her beloved kitty Sophia.

Family and friends are invited to her Celebration of Life on June 4, 2014 at 1100a.m. at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, 19481 Hillsdale Drive, Sonora, California 95370. A reception will follow at 1p.m. at Railtown 1897, one of her favorite places.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in Lynnda’s name to the High Sierra Club or the Sonora Cat Rescue.

Mom—always and forever, our hearts will always touch; always and forever, your baby girls love you so much.
