Stolen Vehicle Suspect Sought In Angels Camp

Angels Camp, Ca...On 05/21/2014 at approximately 3:00 PM, an Angels Camp Police Department officer located a reported stolen vehicle in the 300 block of South Main Street. Witnesses reported seeing a heavy-set female with dark hair wearing a blue tank top exit the stolen vehicle and enter a nearby business. The female was later picked up by a Hispanic male in a blue sedan, possibly a 90s model Toyota Camry. The suspect was caught on surveillance video. On 05/22/2014 at approximately 1:10 PM a person reported that her credit card was stolen from her vehicle and used at two businesses in Angels Camp. Surveillance video confirmed that the suspect from the stolen vehicle is the same suspect that stole the credit card....

On 05/21/2014 at approximately 3:00 PM, an Angels Camp Police Department officer located a reported stolen vehicle in the 300 block of South Main Street.

On 05/22/2014 at approximately 1:10 PM a person reported that her credit card was stolen from her vehicle and used at two businesses in Angels Camp. Surveillance video confirmed that the suspect from the stolen vehicle is the same suspect that stole the credit card.

Everyone needs to be more aware of how common theft is and stop leaving purses or other articles that would be prime theft items in their cars. Lets stop giving these people the things they want by making it so easy for them to get our credit and debit cards.
