Dustin Anthony Prater July 15, 1996 - May 24, 2014
Linden, CA...Dustin Anthony Prater was born July 15, 1996 in French Camp, CA to Frank and Shelly Prater of Stockton, CA. Dusty received his angel wings on May 24, 2014. Dustin made friends of all ages with his beautiful smile, wit, humor, and amazing personality that will always be one of a kind. He loved the outdoors and was a member of the National Rifle Association, California Houndsmen, Ducks Unlimited and many other organizations. Weekends were spent fishing, hunting, camping, racing, 4-wheeling, mudding, barbequing, working on his trucks and listening to country music next to a bon fire...
Dustin attended Linden High School; where he loved designing and welding items for his trucks and family. He was quite an accomplished mechanic for his age; he had just finished rebuilding the engine for his Toyota truck. He also attended Calaveras High School where he enjoyed 4-H, Future Farmers of America, wrestling, football, track, and band with his many friends.
Dustin will be greatly missed by his loving parents Frank and Shelly Prater, Brother Robert Prater, Great-Grandmother Juanita Garrison, Grandparents: Jeanette Hinsz and Bill Goodman, Uncle Marty Prater, Aunt Chrissy (Tim) Silkwood, Aunt Cindy (Gino) Rinaldi, Uncle Bill (Gina) Goodman. Cousins: David (Shawna) Ball, Melissa (Joshua) Powers, Chandee Pressnall, Garrett Goodman, and Courtney Goodman. He was very close to his little cousins, Austin Powers, Michael and Elizabeth Ball, Hailey Antill, and Jack Martin. He will also be missed by many more family and friends.
