June 10, 2014 - Paella Class at Marisolio Tasting Room - Valencia, Spain is the birthplace of its famous Paella Valenciana. There are as many variations of this traditional dish as there are cooks, but basic ingredients include mariscos (shellfish), sausage, chicken or rabbit, rice, saffron and a few vegetables. Because of the expensive (imported) ingredients, we must charge an extra fee for this class, but you will not be disappointed. Lots to taste.
The dessert for this extravaganza will feature a traditional Spanish Olive Oil Cake. Bring a friend and get a $5 discount on your ticket. Classes are held at 10:00 AM and 6:00 PM, depending on enrollment. Call the store at (209) 728-8853 for reservations.
