Wine Down Friday @ Stevenot - Each first Friday of each month from 5-8 pm Stevenot hosts "Wine Down Friday" in the Tasting Room on Main St. Murphys. This is an opportunity to meet the owners and staff while enjoying Stevenot Wines by the glass, party platters, and live music. Call 209-728-3485 for more information.

Fridays at Alchemy - Matt Cullen delivers style with pop, country and jazz vocal performances every Friday on the patio from 5:30-8 pm. The music is free, and there's room to dance. Call 209-728-0700 or visit www.mattcullenonline.com for more information.

Fridays & Saturdays in Murphys - Local Food & Wine Tours - Join Murphys Food and Wine
Tours every Friday and Saturday from 11:00am to 2:30 pm. Each tour is approximately three and a half hours. You’ll get the inside story about the area’s rough-and-tumble past. Purchase tickets
online by visiting Local-Food-Tours.com or by calling 800-407-8918 directly. Private group tours are available by appointment.

Fridays and Saturdays at Tortugas - Enjoy live Music from 9 pm-midnight. Visit the

Saturdays in Murphys - Walking Tours of Historic Downtown Murphys are available at no charge (donations gratefully accepted) on Saturday mornings at 10am leaving from the Old Timers Museum. Please contact Jo Sanders at 209-728-3072 to confirm dates and times or make arrangements for large groups.

July 4-6, 2014 - Quyle Kilns Anniversary Celebration - Enjoy an art show, crafts sales, blacksmithing demonstrations, studio tours, music and refreshment from 10 am to 6 pm.

July 4, 2014 - First Fridays in the Park with the Stardust Cowboys - The
summer concert series continues with the popular cowboy and western swing
band beginning at 5:30 pm. The concert is free and food and drinks will be
available for purchase from 5-8 pm. Lila and Sage will be the caterers for this
week's event so come down and enjoy the music in our beautiful Murphys
Community Park.

July 4, 2014 - Z-Man and Friends at Brice Station - Brice Station Vineyards
presents the Hill Top Concert Series throughout the summer from 7-10 pm. Call

July 5, 2014 - Independence Day Celebration at Ironstone Vineyards -
Live music, food, and firework display. Gates open at 4:30 pm and the show
begins at dusk. Live Music by Shane Dwight, Uplands Drive, and Jill Warren.

July 5, 2014 - 27yh Annual Hernia Hill Half Marathon at Twisted Oak Winery in Vallecito - Registration at 6:30 am, 5k and 10k races start at 8 am. The rubber chicken relay starts at 8:15 am. July 5, 2014 - Independence Day Parade & Festival in Arnold at 10 am. The parade takes place along Highway 4 in the center of town. The parade starts at the Arnold Byway on the east and proceeds down the hill to Cedar Center on the west. The highway will be closed during the parade but a detour route using Moran Road will be available to those traveling beyond Arnold. You’ll want to get there early to get a good seat. For those wanting to hear the parade announcer, you’ll want to find a spot near the Ebbetts Pass Sporting Goods.

July 5. 2014 - The Hot Dark at Outer Aisle - Enjoy live music at Outer Aisle
beginning from 9:30 pm to 12:30 am.

July 6, 2014 - Artist Reception at Hovey Tasting Room - The paintings of
Jeanne Townsend are back by popular demand for the month of July at Hovey Winery
Tasting Room, 350 A Main St., Murphys. An artist’s reception will be held in her
honor from 5:30 to 7 p.m. Sunday July 6. Complimentary appetizers will be served
and wine will be available by the glass.
