don't forget the 700,000 Texan children denied healthcare by conservatives and Ricky Perry. What about them? Seems conservative bigots could care less about any children except when they claim they care about the euphemistic "unborn".

So you really think 700,000 children were unable to receive needed healthcare in Texas? How gullible are you?? So Governor Perry just let them go sick, hungry and placed guards at the hospitals to bar their entrance unless they paid. Just stop with the inane arguments. Simple fact is that even if you want the government to take care of you cradle to grave it is incapable of doing so.

Just look at the VA! Everyone regardless of political stripe wants our vets taken care of!! The government system is just incapable of doing so. They have money, staffing, and budgets and they are still incapable of delivering a good product for our vets.

Government cannot be a wet nurse for everyone!!!!!

I don't know if 700,000 is the right number, but TX's failure to expand Medicaid is certainly having an adverse effect on TX children. Parents living in poverty are not likely to get routine health care for their children, but are much more likely to take them to Emergency Rooms when they are too sick to care for at home. This is a very poor way to receive or deliver health care. These are often working parents, so your assumption that they are not trying to support themselves and their children is incorrect.

Republicans in TX are both heartless and stupid. Heartless for letting children go uninsured and stupid for not taking the federal money allocated for Medicaid expansion. That is $ billions paid to the federal government by TX citizens that TX could get back to fund its healthcare systems, but which TX Republicans choose to leave in DC. Heartless and stupid.

like what's happening everywhere else in the country with states setting up health care exchanges and funding for low-income families. Oh the horrors!

Reality strikes again: Everyone loves the Affordable Care Act, including hospitals and states. Healthcare costs are declining finally.

Boy are you ignorant. Perhaps you are an illegal alien from another planet?

violence in Juarez against children and young women makes this a very offensive and sick joke. Only a severely bigoted person would draw this comic or want to post it.

Violence against women and children is horrible. But I think it's a good cartoon that makes us remember that women and children get shot regularly in Chicago too.

They are all funny or at least wry IMO. Good job.

As usual the left is throwing up a smoke screen.

The human wave is being actively organized and funded.

These are not the random acts. It is a concentrated effort to
flood our shores; and is support by the black house.

Disgraceful.

"flooding our shores" is how Ellis Island immigrants arrived. That's how America rolls. You don't like it, head to another country. This is America and we are a nation of immigrants, of all colors and persuasions. It's what makes us so great.

People who arrive here legally are required to have someone here who has promised to support them until they can support themselves, must have a stated amount of money on them when they arrive or will be required to show proof of a legitimate job waiting for them.
That is the difference between coming here legally and coming here illegally.

My brother was murdered by two teens, one from el Salvador, the other a Guatemalan, as a "initiation " into the MS-13.

No. "Tapping" into "very important issues" within an editorial cartoon requires a certain nuanced irony. The only irony on display is that of the cartoonist's own sense of the "important issue". Neither nuanced nor funny.

Not so sure about that one- Can't find many supporters at the hospital I work at. Our hospital catered to the under served and now that funding is drying up. I love how idiots who have no first hand knowledge get the idea they know what is going on by reading bull *bleep*tteeee news. has anyone heard of "don't believe what is published and don't publish what you believe."
