Stanislaus National Forest, Ramsey Fire Closure Lifted
Sonora, CA...The Forest Closure Order, resulting from the Ramsey Fire in August 2012 that burned approximately 1,137 acres of mixed conifer in the North Fork of the Stanislaus River, is now lifted. The Ramsey Fire forest closure order was scheduled to be in effect from August 16, 2012, through September 12, 2014, but is being opened early due to the completion of necessary rehabilitation work...
The forest order opens several roads and one trail on the Calaveras Ranger District, which includes the following: 6N79, 17E21, 6N59Y and trail 17E21.
The Rim Fire Forest Closure Order is still in effect until November 18, and is not related or affected by the Ramsey Fire Forest Order.
Fire Danger Level on the Stanislaus National Forest (STF) is currently “High.” Please help spread the word about Fire Restrictions on the STF and help keep the public safe from wildfire. To learn how to help prevent unwanted wildfire, please visit http://www.preventwildfireca.org/OneLessSpark/.

We tried to get at least one shot of every entrant, and numerous general event photos.
The field was a great mixture of classic, custom, vintage and more. The different styles added character and depth to the event. There was something for everyone. The event was also a financial success and filled the coffers of GABA to allow them to enhance their promotional efforts for the area. The Ebbetts Pass Moose Lodge also had a very successful food day.
Music capped off the day with The Tour Guides filling the Center with Classic Rock n Roll as the day moved from afternoon till evening
