Ironstone Hosts Historic Find
Murphys, CA...Come join the Fred Holabird team at the Ironstone Vineyards Museum on Saturday August 30th for a one day preview of an outstanding historic find. "We will be highlighting items from the upcoming September auction including a massive Utica Mining, Angels Camp, & Murphys archive. This archive contains thousands and thousands of papers from the 1890’s. ...
Also on display will be one of three known, authenticated pieces of wood from the original Sutter's Mill. See an early 1850’s Diamond Springs collection complete with letters and rare photographs. There will be Chinese pottery, a postal history cover from Zodoc, California (only known cancel from this city), Rare American Express stock certificates signed by Wells, Fargo, and Butterfield, gold rush letters, early Tahoe cabinet card collection, etc.
