Additional Information: A citizen riding their mountain bike near the intersection of Summit Level Road and Forest Road 7N08 observed the smoke and reported the fire to the CAL FIRE Emergency Command Center on Friday September 19, 2014. Responding units located the fire in the Swamp Creek Drainage area of Blue Mountain. Fire activity was minimal and the fire was burning in the forest understory.
