Services Tomorrow For Ruby Ramey Minard Hibbert 1926 - 2014
Angels Camp, CA...Ruby Ramey Minard Hibbert was born to parents James and Mamie Ramey in Copperopolis on August 17, 1926. She passed away on October 5, 2014 in Angels Camp. She attended Copperopolis Grammar School and Bret Harte High School where she met her future husband Bert Minard. They shared 50 years of marriage before his passing in 1996. Ruby owned A. F. Wilson Insurance and was an outstanding asset to the community with her dedicated service to all. She was active in the Angels Merchants Association and BPW. She enjoyed many years in the Angels Camp Bowling League with her long-time friends. Ruby was known for her outstanding cooking and it was always a treat to be at her dinner table. Ruby was lucky to find another wonderful man and married Ron Hibbert of Arizona. They enjoyed many years of travel and fun adventures....
Ruby was preceded in death by her parents James and Mamie Ramey, first husband Bert Minard and sisters Evelyn and Ina Ruth. She is survived by husband Ron Hibbert, daughter Renee Menzes and her husband Kevin; two grandsons Joe and his wife Rhonda and Jon Menzes; great-grandchildren Marissa and Mitchell Menzes; step-children Lance Hibbert and his wife Monica, and Wendy Lichte and her husband Dan; sister Louise Singer; nieces Donna Conrado, Kathy Kalunian, Kristy Singer-MacNair and nephews James Grady, Larry Stanberry, Richard Beck and Jerry Evans and many great nieces and nephews.
Ruby was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and her character, integrity and love will live on through her family. The family would like to acknowledge Foothill Village, Debbie Ponte and her staff for the excellent care they gave Ruby, always treating her with love and respect.
A celebration of life for Ruby will be held at Foothill Community Church, 3710 Whittle Road,
Angels Camp on Thursday, October 9, 2014, at 2:00 pm.
