Damaged AT&T Fiber Optic Cable Revealed as Deliberate, Intentional Criminal Act
Tulumne County, CA.. On 10/14/14 Deputies from the Tuolumne County Sheriff’s Office met with representatives of AT&T at the site of the damaged fiber optic cable. The Deputies began an investigation and processed the scene for anything of investigative value. The Deputies then turned the investigation over to Detectives from the Tuolumne ...
County Sheriff’s Office. After reviewing all available information, the scene and evidence recovered at the scene, the Sheriff’s Office determined that this was a deliberate, intentional criminal act.
The investigation is in the initial stages and no other information including the location of the damaged line will be released at this time, in order to not jeopardize the on going investigation.
As needed the Tuolumne County Sheriff’s Office may contact other law enforcement agencies to help facilitate the investigation.
