Frogtown, CA...The 17th Annual Soroptimist International's Teddy Bear Tea kicked off the holiday season in Calaveas County on Sunday. Santa & Mrs. Claus, Ballerinas, Jugglers, Face Painting, Carolers, A fine Ukelele concert, a beautiful and formal High Tea brought a bit of culture to Grandmas & Granddaughters, Mothers & Daughters and young families...

The event started with the attendees getting pictures with Santa, checking out the gifts and raffle prizes, face painting and more and then it was high tea and a great concert provided by students from Mark Twain Elementary.
Studio 4 School of Dance provided the high point of the entertainment with several numbers showcasing the work of our local talented young dancers. For many of them it was their first performance and they the did a wonderful job and this event always helps them get ready for their big Nutcracker performance in December.
Mark Twain Hall was beautifully decorated and transformed into a grand ballroom for the occasion. The Soroptimists to a wonderful job hosting an event that has become a family tradition. So make plans next year for your and yours to attend the 18th Annual Teddy Bear Tea
