Long-Term Care Ombudsman Certification Training
Sonora, CA...The Mother Lode Long-Term Care Ombudsman Program is recruiting volunteers to assist with monitoring the quality of care, identifying and resolving problems, and to respond to complaints received on behalf of residents in long-term and residential care facilities in Amador, Calaveras, Mariposa and Tuolumne Counties....
We are seeking volunteer advocates who are comfortable with assisting in conflict resolution, have excellent communication and organizational skills, and the ability to be objective and independent during investigations.
A mandatory 36-hour training in order to become certified by the California Department of Aging is free and the monthly time commitment is approximately 15 flexible hours.
