Defensible Space and Drought Planning
Jackson, CA...Fire and Rain, two powerful forces of nature, are all too familiar to California gardeners. The possibility of fire must be built into your landscaping plans. There are requirements and suggestions to pay attention to. In case of an actual forest fire, what needs to be done then? Everyone in northern CA is aware of the on-going drought. There is a year around concern to deal with. When it does rain, how do we control it? Are there reasonable ways to store and save it? These and other issues will be discussed at this free class hosted by UCCE Master Gardeners of Amador County.....
Class will be held on January 17, 9am-12pm, at the GSA building, 12200-B Airport Road in Jackson (Martell). For more information contact the Master Gardeners at 223-6838 from 10am to noon, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays or email mgamador@ucdavis.edu
